The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Year Old is a classic single malt Scotch whisky, part of The Macallan's Sherry Oak range. It is matured exclusively in hand-picked Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, for a minimum of 12 years. This maturation process imparts a rich, complex character with notes of wood spice, dried fruits, and a natural rich gold color. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

Rich and inviting, with notes of dried fruits, vanilla, ginger, nutmeg, candied citrus peel, and oak. Some floral notes and sultanas are also present.
Palate
Smooth and full-bodied, revealing flavors of rich sherry, sweet dried fruit, toffee, raisins, sultanas, ginger syrup, sweet cinnamon spice, and a hint of vanilla. Dark chocolate and orange notes can also be found.
Finish
Long with sweet dried fruits, oak, warming ginger, and spice. Some notes of black pepper, stem ginger, and clove, with a dry oak flavor.
