Description

This single cask bottling is an exceptional 18 year old expression of Macallan single malt. Distilled in 2006, the liquid matured in a single first fill sherry butt for almost two decades. From esteemed independent bottler Gordon & Macphail as part of their Speymalt series, showcasing Speyside single malts. It was bottled in 2024 at a natural cask strength of 61.3% ABV, yielding 585 bottles.

Palate
Full and indulgent, with flavours of sultana, fig, treacle, malted barley, rich sherry sweetness, fruit cake, toffee, creamy cocoa powder, rich hazelnut, toasted oak, peppery notes, ripe banana, orange zest, and milk chocolate.
Finish
Long, warming, and refined, with lingering dark fruit, spice, elegant oak tannin, mature oak, ginger, dried banana, toasted oak, hint of walnuts, and creamy milk chocolate.
