Nose
Rich Sherry influences with stewed pear, green apple and cinnamon aromas. Delicate menthol note with a touch of beeswax polish. Orange peel, honey, strong sherrywood overtones, faint smokiness. Chocolate coated nuts, sultanas, prunes, wood varnish, dark chocolate, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla.
Palate
Cracked black pepper initially with orange, lemon zest and dark chocolate flavours. Subtle charred oak edge. Deliciously rich and slightly spicy with sweet sherry and nuts. Peaty and smoky. Big impact, spicy, black pepper, peach, apricot, orange.
Finish
Lingering coffee and Brazil nut edge. Gentle spices, nutmeg, ginger, orange notes. Canned peaches. Not very long. Creamy chocolate, leather, oak spices, lingering spice, some fruit.
