This is a Macallan 1970 vintage single malt whisky, independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail under their Speymalt series. Matured for 38 years in a first-fill sherry butt (cask #8326), it was bottled in 2009 at 46% ABV. This particular release was exclusively bottled for La Maison du Whisky and won a Malt Maniacs Award in 2009.
