Nose: Rich Sherry influences with stewed plum, orange marmalade and peach aromas. Hints of marzipan and charred oak linger. Floral aromas combine hints of apple and cinnamon. Tropical fruit notes develop with banana and pineapple.
Palate: Black pepper initially with grapefruit, orange peel and dark chocolate. Complimented by a subtle hint of ground coffee. Creamy milk chocolate, orange peel, green apple and almond flavours initially. These combine with an underlying smokiness, cigar ash.
Finish: Long and lingering.

Black pepper against creamy milk chocolate and orange peel gives this whisky a clear sweet-and-spiced contrast. The sherry-led fruit sounds inviting, without making the spice feel like the whole story.
