Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release. This Macallan Thirties is a re-creation of the 1930s style Macallan, part of the Travel Range Limited Edition series, sold exclusively on the worldwide travel retail market between 1999-2001. It aims to encapsulate the unique character of the 1930s, an era when resource scarcity led to the use of peat to dry barley and Spanish oak sherry casks became available again after the Spanish Civil War and World War II.
