Nose
On first impression this whisky has quite a floral and delicate sherry note. There's notes of vanilla, orange, and milk chocolate, and a hint of mint and smoke in the background.
Palate
Initially honey sweetness and quite waxy on the palate, followed by a hit of spices, ginger, pepper, and oak leading to a slight bitterness. This gives way to a fruity aspect dominated by orange, alongside a little peat smoke.
Finish
Quite short and drying, there's some fizzy orange and smoke but this dissipates quickly.
