Description
These versions of the Macallan Whisky Maker's Edition expression comprise the Classic Travel collection, a modern interpretation of the original Travel Series from the early 2000s. This was the brand's second collaboration with X-Ray photographer Nick Veasey, following the 2011 Six Pillars range. The collection was launched in July 2016 at Singapore's Changi Airport and is a travel retail exclusive. It features four unique designs showcasing classic modes of transport: a 1920s locomotive, a 1930s ocean liner, a 1930s propeller plane, and a 1940s roadster. The whisky was personally crafted by distillery manager Bob Dalgarno from a mix of sherry and bourbon casks.
