A Highland malt distillery that makes up the John Dewar & Sons portfolio, providing whisky for The Deveron brand. Its single malt has also previously been known as Glen Deveron while the name Macduff is found only on independent bottlings. This Macduff 1973 Mo'or Collection 37 Year Old is an independent bottling from The Whisky Talker, a Dutch company known for its Mo Òr Collection of single cask whiskies. It was bottled in 2010, yielding 281 bottles from a bourbon hogshead.

A beautiful mixture of beeswax and oranges, fresh green figs, red plums, leather, dried apricots, hints of toasted bread, hay, cinnamon, cloves, nougat, and subtle herbs like parsley and dill.
Palate
Rich and juicy with honey, waxed oak, oranges/apricots, a little mint, cinnamon, and pepper, with a controlled bourbonny oak kick.
Finish
Medium long, slightly thinner, but nicely minty, with some citrus tea.
