Description

Mackinlay's Shackleton is a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, expertly crafted by Richard Paterson of Whyte & Mackay. It is a recreation of the whisky left behind by Sir Ernest Shackleton during his 1907 British Antarctic Expedition. The original Mackinlay's Rare Old Highland Malt was distilled at Glen Mhor and was personally selected by Ernest Shackleton. This modern interpretation combines the style of the original with today's craftsmanship, using a blend of Highland malts. It was initially released in 1L bottles through Global Travel Retail.
