Description
Maker's Mark 46 is the first line extension in the brand's history, introduced in 2010. It is made by taking fully matured Maker's Mark bourbon and finishing it for an additional two to three months in barrels containing ten heavily seared French oak staves (Stave Profile No. 46). This innovative wood-finishing process amplifies notes of vanilla, caramel, and spice, creating a bolder and more complex flavor profile than the original Maker's Mark, without the bitterness typical of longer-aged whiskies.
