Description
Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2024 Release is the second annual, global limited-release expression from the distillery, representing their oldest release to date. It is a meticulous blend of 15% 12-year-old and 85% 13-year-old bourbons, bottled at 59.7% ABV. This expression is aged to taste, not time, with barrels spending approximately six years in traditional bourbon warehouses before an additional five to six years of aging in Maker's Mark's proprietary limestone cellar. This unique maturation process in a cooler, more consistent environment helps to develop a richer, deeper, and more complex flavor profile while avoiding the harsh tannic effects often found in older American whiskies.
