Maker's Mark Private Selection is a unique program that allows retailers and bars to create their own custom bourbon by finishing fully matured, cask-strength Maker's Mark with a selection of 10 wood staves. These staves are aged for an additional nine weeks in the distillery's limestone cellar. The five available stave types are Baked American Pure 2, Seared French Cuvée, Maker's 46, Roasted French Mocha (or Mendiant), and Toasted French Spice, offering over 1,001 possible combinations. This particular 'Mr. Whiskers' selection uses 2 Baked American Pure 2, 2 Seared French Cuvée, 4 Maker's 46, 1 Toasted French Spice, and 1 Roasted French Mocha staves.
