Maker's Mark Private Selection is a unique program where fully-matured cask strength Maker's Mark Bourbon is finished for an additional nine weeks in a limestone cellar with 10 custom wood-finishing staves. These staves are selected from five different oak types, allowing for over 1,001 possible flavor combinations. The base bourbon is typically aged between 5.75 and 7 years.
