Description
Mannochmore was built in 1971 by DCL (now Diageo) on the site of its sister distillery, Glenlossie, to assist with the increasing demand for blended Scotch in the international market. Its output remains blend focused to this day, and as such is more commonly bottled as a single malt by independent labels. This particular release is a 12-year-old Mannochmore, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2023 by independent bottler North Star Spirits as part of their Cask Series 23. It was matured in a red wine barrique and released as a single cask bottling of 535 bottles.
