The Mars Komagatake for Miyada Village Asagi Madara Photo Contest 2024 is a single malt Japanese whisky from the Mars Komagatake Distillery, located in Miyada Village, Nagano Prefecture. This special series features the grand prize-winning photograph from the village's annual 'Asagi madara no Sato Photo Contest' on its label. The 2024 edition showcases a photograph titled 'Chobu' (Leaping Dance) by Mr. Atsuyuki Kobayashi, which won both the Grand Prize and the Art Label Award at the 2024 contest. The whisky is crafted from unpeated malts, aged a minimum of four years, primarily in ex-bourbon barrels, with additional maturation in American oak, Marsala, sherry, and wine casks. It is a limited edition, bottled in 2024.
