Description

"The Lucky Cat" is a series of blended whiskies from Mars Whisky, with "May & Hana" being the tenth edition. This limited edition blended Japanese whisky is produced by Mars Komagatake Distillery (Hombo Shuzo) in Nagano, Japan. It is a blend of malt and grain whiskies, lightly peated, and matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry and port wine casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV, is non-age statement, and non-chill filtered, with no added coloring. This release celebrates the personalities of two distillery cats, May (20 years old) and Hana (8 years old), with the sweet flavors from the casks reflecting their affectionate nature. Approximately 10,000 bottles were released globally.
