This expression, The Matsui The Peated, is a single malt Japanese whisky distilled by Kurayoshi Distillery in Tottori Prefecture. Crafted from carefully selected peated malt and double distilled, it is aged in white oak bourbon casks. It offers a delightful balance of mellow, fruity sweetness complemented by a smoky, peaty finish, with notes of soft smoke, apples, vanilla, peppery oak, and savoury malt.
