Palate
Concentrated and round, with a decent mouthfeel. Flavors of honey, vanilla, and unexpected earthy, medicinal, gently smoky peat. Caramel notes, stewed apples, and buttery notes. Spices like ginger, nutmeg, and pepper are present, along with a subtle saline note. [1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10]
Finish
Medium to long, with fading peat smokiness, earthy forest floor, distant vanilla, pepper, stewed apples, and a saline quality. [1, 3, 5, 7, 10]
