Description

Michter's Toasted Barrel Finish Straight Rye is a limited release Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey. It undergoes a double maturation process, first in fire-charred new American white oak barrels, and then for an additional period in a second custom barrel made from 24-month air-dried wood that has been toasted, not charred, to Michter's specifications. This process aims to enhance the spice character of the rye while adding notes of dark toast and smoke, resulting in a unique and complex whiskey.
