Description

Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy is a premium single pot still Irish whiskey, named in honor of Barry Crockett, Midleton's former Master Distiller who retired in 2013 after 47 years at the distillery. First released in 2011 as a permanent annual release, it is crafted from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and triple-distilled in traditional copper pot stills. The whiskey is matured primarily in American ex-bourbon barrels, with a subtle contribution from distillate aged in unseasoned American oak. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, it offers a complex and elegant flavor profile. It has received numerous awards, including Master Medals and Double Gold.
