Description

Midleton Dair Ghaelach Kylebeg Wood is the fourth release in the Dair Ghaelach (Irish oak) series from Midleton Very Rare. This limited edition Irish Single Pot Still whiskey is finished in virgin Irish oak hogsheads sourced from Kylebeg Wood on the Ballykilcavan Estate in County Laois. The oak trees were planted in 1820 to replace those felled during the Napoleonic Wars. The whiskey is a blend of 15 to 28-year-old Single Pot Still whiskeys, previously matured in American oak barrels, and then finished for two years in the Irish oak casks. It is bottled at cask strength and is non-chill filtered.
