Description

This Millstone 12 Year Old Sherry Cask is a Dutch Single Malt Whisky from Zuidam Distillers. Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2016, it matured for 8 years in American oak before a secondary maturation in very old Oloroso Sherry casks. This single cask release yielded only 61 bottles. Zuidam Distillers, founded by Fred van Zuidam in 1975 and now run by his sons Patrick and Gilbert, is known for milling its malted barley using traditional windmills to preserve the grain's aromas.
