Nose
Sweet porridge, orange peel, and cooked apple spiced with a little cinnamon. Rather rich with a citrusy note, soft golden honey and sweet peaches, pineapple, and soft sponge cake, with a building fruity tone. Lemonade, white icing, green grapes and kiwi.
Palate
Creamy vanilla, white chocolate, and raspberries join the party. Incredibly gentle on the palate with a creamy texture that slowly gives up all that time in oak. Rich and tasty biscuit note, complex with an amazing rich green fruit note, soft golden syrup, lemon and orange citrus notes. Big hit of flavours including a citrus and spiced woody note, herbs and toffee, tangy edges with a rich phenolic tone throughout. Malted vanilla and toasted cinnamon, sprinkled with black pepper.
Finish
A little tropical fruit and cream linger. Puff pastry and waves of warming vanilla. Fairly dry with oak, tannins and pepper.
