Nose
Aroma of loquat cake and soft almond skin wrapped in smooth old sherry. Pu-erh tea and chestnuts form layers, with a moderate oiliness and a high-quality richness.
Palate
Yellow peach and loquat compote wrapped in chocolate, with the back of the tongue coated in creamy toffee and malty sweetness. Despite the alcohol content and age after bottling, it has a firm body and lively maltiness.
Finish
The finish is medium in length, hinting at fresh figs, berries, hazelnuts, and a sweet and savory bitterness like brown sugar.
