Description

The Whisky Jury selected this 26-year-old Miltonduff single malt, distilled in October 1998 and bottled in March 2025, from a refill hogshead. This Speyside whisky is known for its smooth and elegant character, with notes of honey, apple, pear, and a subtle spiciness. It captures an old-school charm with slightly oxidised orchard fruits, delicate waxiness, warming spice and graceful drinkability.

Nose
Seductive and soft with aromas of stewed pear, apple compote and ripe nectarine. Hints of beeswax, old books, dried flowers, cinnamon, marzipan, tangerine, green banana, hay, dandelions, fresh butter, vanilla cake and biscuits.
Palate
Silky and wonderfully balanced with flavours of baked apples, buttery vanilla, gentle spice and subtle almond. White fruits, green melon, guava, almond paste, dough, candied ginger, light waxy texture, light mineral oils, and a hint of mocha. Thick oily feel.
Finish
Medium in length with lingering notes of applesauce, soft spice, light oak, a whisper of white pepper and citrus zest. Old oak, mild toffee, bruised apple, grassy spice, tea with honey and lemon, peppercorn, and a vegetal note.
