Nose
Pine needles, green bananas and green apples. Some wet limestone and mineral notes in the distance. Unripe peaches. Almonds. A little varnished oak and a subtle metallic edge.
Palate
creamy and fruity, with (pine)apple, sweet lemon, a little vanilla. A fresh Mortlach again. Light grapefruit bitterness, as well as a chalky note and charred oak.
Finish
long, quite zesty now. Rubbed lemons, light minerals, pepper and a bit of a Springbank twist.
