Description

Named in honour of former distillery owner Alexander Cowie, the "way" of the title was his own distinctive insistence on distilling the whisky 2.81. Carrying on the tradition through the ages, this Mortlach 14 year old was then matured in bourbon and sherry casks before being bottled

Palate
Spicy with cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg, white pepper, balanced by sweet notes of vanilla, caramel, peach, and milk chocolate. Also features oak spices, leather, tobacco, and earthy notes.
Finish
Medium to long, spicy with ginger, pepper, oak, and cinnamon. Lingering lemon and wood spice notes.
