Nose
citrusy, meaty, grainy, gamey, herbal, metallic. Delicate hints of lemon peel and a touch of mango mixed with essential vegetal oils, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, and subtle metallic and saline notes.
Palate
oily, tropical sweetness, umami richness, citrusy, peppery, salty, meaty, metallic. Gentle tropical fruit (pineapple) mixed with lemon zest. Loads of savory meatiness—a mix of umami soy sauce, dried mushrooms, damp earth, iron-like blood notes, and leathery cereal.
Finish
More lemon peel, along with ginger, white pepper, cinnamon, and dried fruits. The meatiness leans more farmy here, with bold notes of barley and wheat, rich dry earth, and some roasted beef and leather.
