Description

Mosgaard Organic Single Malt Whisky is a high-quality, single cask whisky made from organic Danish barley malt. It is handcrafted in Denmark using traditional methods and distilled in copper pot stills designed by Mosgaard. Each batch is made with pure rainwater from the island of Funen. It is crafted in small batches and carefully aged in oak barrels to bring out the complexity of its flavor. It has a smooth and slightly sweet taste with notes of caramel, vanilla, and wood. The finish is light and smooth, with a hint of spice. This whisky is perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks.

Aroma is very pleasant, with citrus, grapefruit, lime, and floral notes.
Palate
A rich, complex, and smooth taste, initially sweet and peaty, evolving to earthy, ashy notes with leather, tar, and rubber. Also features apple with caramel, dried fruit, stone fruit like apricot or peach, vegetal and forest notes (pine shoots), tobacco, smoked sausage, and smoked malt.
Finish
Quite rich and lovely smooth texture, marked by charred oak, earthy, and ashy notes. Dried fruit, raisins, a hint of rubber, and an aftertaste of tobacco, with a bit of coconut and dark chocolate.
