This distinguished malt whisky matured for over 12 years in ex-bourbon casks before being re-aged for approximately one year in American oak casks that once cradled the rich, mature rums of Foursquare. Bottled at batch strength, this limited edition release is non chill-filtered and has natural color.

Nose
Spiced apple, banana bread, and candied citrus are joined sugar toasted nuts and vanilla fudge. Also sweet, creamy-caramel, molasses, sponge cake, malt, vanilla, ginger biscuit, vegetable notes, parsley, mint, lemon, and green Granny Smith apple.
Palate
Tropical notes of grilled pineapple and rum and raisin ice cream make for a sweet and fruity start, backed by woody layers of clove and earthy tea. Also oily, intense, apples in caramel, sweet-spicy, orchard fruits, juicy pears, spices, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, creamy-vanilla notes, coconut, and pineapple.
Finish
Superbly sweet and exotic with generous layers of juicy fruit, butterscotch, pepper, and oak char. Still sweet and spicy with distinct notes of spices, warming, leaving aftertastes of orchard fruit peels, oranges with cloves, cinnamon, ginger and pepper.
