Description

The name given to single malt whisky distilled at Miltonduff distillery using Lomond stills. It was one of several experiments of this kind conducted by Hiram Walker & Sons in the 20th century, and the stills at Miltonduff were active between 1964 and 1981. Rarest of the Rare was an independent brand of single malt and grain Scotch whiskies produced by the bottler, Duncan Taylor. This Mosstowie 1975 33 Year Old was distilled in May 1975 and bottled in November 2008 from a single cask.
