Description
The Nagahama Roman Blended Whisky is a product of Nagahama Distillery, Japan's smallest distillery founded in 2016. This blended whisky combines self-distilled malts from Nagahama Distillery with carefully selected imported grain whiskies from Scotland. The blending and maturation process takes place at the Nagahama Distillery, located on the shores of Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture, an environment believed to be ideal for whisky maturation due to the lake's moderating effect on the climate. The name 'Roman' in Japanese symbolizes 'dream', 'tale', or 'journey', reflecting the philosophy behind this harmonious blend. It is bottled at 43% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
