This Nashville Barrel Company 8 Year 'The Founders Fourteen' Bourbon is a limited edition release, part of a series of 14 single barrels that formed the foundation of the company. Distilled on June 14, 2014, and aged for 8 years, this straight bourbon whiskey was bottled in Indiana for Nashville Barrel Company, located in Nashville, TN. The barrels were purchased in late 2019 and brought home in late 2022. Each bottle comes from a specific numbered barrel, with this particular release being Barrel #8, yielding 185 bottles.

Rich, complex, and smooth taste. Sweet, dark, and layered with flavors like vanilla wafer, brownie batter, raw cocoa powder, candied cherries, cinnamon King Cake, Caribbean vanilla, juicy fruit gum, and Red Hots candy. Viscous mouthfeel with a sweet, rich oak oiliness.

Lingering and long, with dark fruit (particularly fig), chocolate, orange, and a chewy, flavorful complexity. Red Hots, baking spice, and vanilla persist, with a pleasant drying aspect.
