Description
Facing Tobermory Distillery across the Sound of Mull, Nc'nean is situated on the Drimnin estate on Scotland's Morvern peninsula and owned by Derek and Louise Lewis, the parents of distillery manager, Annabel Thomas. One of the new wave of Scottish farm distilleries designed by the late Jim Swan, Ncn'ean has been designed as the first fully organic modern distillery in Scotland powered by 100% renewable energy. This expression was matured in a first fill ex-bourbon cask in November 2017 before being transferred for a finishing period in an ex-tequila cask in May 2019. It was bottled exclusively for The Whisky Exchange.
