Description

Nc'nean is a modern Scotch whisky distillery on the west coast of Scotland, founded in 2017 by Annabel Thomas. Located on the Drimnin Estate on the Morvern Peninsula, the distillery was designed by the late Dr. Jim Swan and its production is both fully organic and entirely powered by renewable energy. It is the first fully organic modern distillery in Scotland and became the UK's first distillery to gain Net Zero status. The whisky is made from organic Scottish barley and matured in a thoughtful blend of red wine barrels, ex-American whiskey casks, and a small percentage of sherry casks. It is bottled in 100% recycled glass.
