Nose
Christmas cake, dates, fortified wine, blueberries, cinnamon, cloves, and salty brine. Bold port-soaked raisins, dark cherries, and various stone fruits.
Palate
Rich date loaf and spicy plum pudding. Vibrant dried fruits, including cherries and strawberries, intertwined with almonds and nutmeg, leading to liquorice sweetness spiked with anise. Sweet concentrated fruits, wood-driven pepper, dark chocolate, mulled wine, and spiced stone fruit jam.
Finish
Long, lingering finish with madeira, blueberries, and salty dark toffee. A slightly drying and energetic see-saw between spices and sweetness, with a balanced, drawn-out port-like finale. Ginger spiced plum cakes and leather.
