Nikka From the Barrel is a blended whisky from Japan, combining malt and grain whiskies from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. First released in 1985, it is bottled at 51.4% ABV to deliver full flavors and richness, evoking the experience of tasting whisky directly from the barrel. The blend is married in various casks, including ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, for 3-6 months to stabilize and harmonize the flavors. It is presented in a distinctive 500ml square bottle, designed to represent a 'small block of whisky'.
