Description

Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt is a Japanese whisky from the Miyagikyo Distillery in Miyagi Prefecture, known for its elegant, fruity, and delicate character. This non-age statement expression is made from mostly unpeated barley with a touch of peated malt, distilled in pot stills heated by indirect steam, and matured in a combination of ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks. It offers a lighter body with a bouquet of flavors including spicy, green apple, malty, and caramel notes.

Long, soft. Wilted roses, tangy notes (lemon, grapefruit), tobacco, spices (cardamom, ginger), toasted nuts, stewed fruits (apple, damson) and exotic aromas (lychee).
