Description

Masataka Taketsuru is known as the grandfather of the Japanese whisky industry. He traveled to Scotland to study organic chemistry and worked in Hazelburn before establishing the first Japanese Whisky Distillery. He founded Nikka, and this whisky series carries his name. This 12-year-old blended malt whisky is a vatting of malts from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, known for its balanced harmony of fragrances and flavors. It was discontinued in 2014 due to a shortage of aged whisky stocks.
