Exciting aromas of vanilla, banana, raisin, and sweet candy, complemented by deep woodiness, incense, lacquered wood, and coconut cream. There are also hints of oak, honey, light smokiness, and a briny coastal note, with herbal malt, charred oak, apple pastry, and citrus.
Palate
Rich and chewy, with prominent vanilla and oak notes. Sweet elements like sweet red frogs candy, strawberry, and pineapple are present, alongside oak and pine sap, honeydew melon, peanut brittle, cornbread, and charred planks. It offers a rich, medium body with honey, sugared pineapples, vanilla cream, and some sherry qualities like leather, cooked plums, figs, and prunes, leading to a creamy, velvety texture. A smoky, salty taste with red fruits and lemon citrus also emerges.
Finish
Reasonably long, with oaky and tannic notes. Flavors of earl grey tea, fruit salad, and vanilla dominate, evolving into Mizunara, ashy tones, sweet vanilla cream, coconut flakes, and sugared pineapples. It concludes with subtle peat, melon, oak tannins, and maritime peat smoke.
