The Nikka Yoichi Apple Brandy Wood Finish is a limited edition single malt whisky released in 2020 to commemorate the 100th wedding anniversary of Nikka founder Masataka Taketsuru and his wife Rita. This expression from the Yoichi distillery, known for its peaty character, was finished in apple brandy casks, a nod to Nikka's early history of producing apple products. It offers a harmonious blend of Yoichi's robust malt flavors and the sweet, fruity nuances imparted by the apple brandy casks.
