The Nikka Yoichi Sherry Wood Finish 2018 Release is a limited edition single malt Japanese whisky from the Yoichi Distillery, founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru. This expression was finished in sherry casks and bottled in 2018 at 46% ABV. It is known for its rich and elegant profile, balancing dark fruits, sticky dates, and toffee with the gentle and warming candied fruits, sweet nuts, and a whiff of peat smoke characteristic of Yoichi whiskies. This release was specifically for the European market and was limited to 3132 bottles.
