Description

DISTILLED 10th December 1993 AND BOTTLED 14th March 2025. The cask yielded only 113 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 44.3%. Founded in 1885 in Edinburgh. This distillate has a heavier character compared to other grain distilleries due to the use of maize in the mash bill. Fully matured in an ex-bourbon barrel for notes of vanilla and spice. Our local grain distillery located just over the water in Edinburgh produces one of the heaviest grain whiskies on offer. Fully matured in a very well used refill barrel that was also leaking throughout its life has led to a very soft and gentle but mature single grain whisky at a very very approachable natural ABV.
