Description

A grain whisky distillery located in Edinburgh and co-owned by both Diageo and the Edrington Group through a joint venture called Lothian Distillers. While most of its stock is destined for blends, some official North British single grain whisky has been bottled over the years. This 58-year-old expression, distilled in July 1960 and bottled in 2018, is notable as the first-ever commercial release from the North British Distillery, commemorating its incorporation on 24 October 1885. It was matured in a single hogshead and is part of 'The Incorporation Edition' series.
