Description

Formed after Fred and Stewart Laing parted ways in 2013, Hunter Laing is under ownership of the latter and his two sons. The company took over Edition Spirits and began releasing their First Editions series. Since the demerger, Hunter Laing claimed the following ranges: Old Malt Cask; Old and Rare Selection; and the Sovereign. As a company with a rich history in producing luxury blends, Hunter Laing bottled this single grain Scotch whisky from North British distillery. It was distilled in 1996 and aged for 21 years in a single refill hogshead, then bottled at cask strength in November 2017 for The Sovereign series, with an outturn of 219 numbered bottles.
