Description
The North British Distillery company was originally founded in 1885 by a conglomerate of blenders who were tired of DCLs monopoly on grain whisky. The distillery was built in the Gorgie district of Edinburgh, and grew rapidly over the years, with their continuous stills currently able to churn out between 35000 - 40000 litres of spirit every hour. Ironically the company is now partly owned by Diag... This North British 1991 33 Year Old Tri Carragh Single Grain Scotch Whisky was distilled in January 1991 and bottled in 2024. It was matured in a refill bourbon barrel and is a single cask release, with an outturn of 163 bottles.
