Description

The North of Scotland distillery was originally created with the intention of producing malt whisky with an altered Coffey still, but it was soon decided that only grain whisky would be manufactured at the site. To conform with planning permission limitations for the height of the roof, the stills had to be uniquely sunk into pits in the floor of the distillery. During its working life, the distillery produced grain whisky before its closure in 1980, making this a bottling from a now-closed distillery.
