Description

Although Direct Wines are the world's largest mail-order wine retailer, the company also provides independent whisky bottlings. The most well-known of their ranges is the First Cask series, showcasing single cask whiskies bottled at 46% ABV from a wide variety of distilleries. This rare find hails from North Port-Brechin, a distillery that closed in 1983 and was subsequently demolished in 1993. This single malt spent 24 years maturing in a single cask between 1976 and 2000/2001, bottled for the First Cask collection.
