Description

A former malt distillery and one of several defunct names within the Diageo portfolio. It was originally opened as Brechin in 1820 before being renamed later that century. It was shut down by Distillers Company in 1983 and only ever officially bottled a handful of times. This Cadenhead's bottling was distilled in 1977 and matured in a single refill bourbon hogshead, bottled in 2015 at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural colour. Only 174 individually numbered bottles were released.
